About Me

I am a well-experienced tattoo artist based in Mentor, Ohio, with over 20 years of expertise in the craft. I specialize in black and gray realism, bringing intricate detail and lifelike quality to every piece I create. While my focus is on realism and black and gray work, I am equally skilled in a variety of tattoo styles and have extensive experience in color tattoos. Whether you prefer full-color designs or subtle pops of color incorporated into your tattoo, I am capable of delivering exactly what you envision. My priority is to tailor each piece to suit my clients’ needs and preferences, ensuring their complete satisfaction with the final result.

Schedule your consultation

To schedule a free consultation with me, please book here. All consultations are free, and during our time together, we will discuss the type of tattoo you want and your vision, along with mine, to create an amazing custom piece.

Please note, a $200 deposit is required on the day you book your tattoo appointment. I offer both half-day and full-day sessions for clients interested in larger pieces. For your convenience, sessions can be split up if you prefer not to sit for extended periods.

Looking forward to bringing your tattoo vision to life.

Prep and Aftercare

To ensure the best tattoo experience, please arrive at your appointment well rested and properly hydrated. Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session, as it can thin your blood and increase bleeding. If you are taking any medications that may cause excessive bleeding, inform me prior to your appointment. For longer sessions, bring snacks and drinks to keep your energy up. After your tattoo is complete, I will wrap it before you leave the shop. Once you remove the wrapping, gently wash your tattoo with an unscented antibacterial soap about 3-4 times daily. After washing, allow it to air dry briefly, then apply a thin layer of Aquaphor for the first three days. After that period, switch to an unscented dry skin lotion. Expect peeling and itching as your tattoo heals — avoid picking or scratching the area. If you need to relieve itching, gently pat instead of scratching to protect your tattoo. The first week after getting a tattoo can be uncomfortable, and this is completely normal. You may experience some swelling during the first couple of days, along with slight redness and a burning sensation. As your tattoo begins to heal, you’ll enter a phase where itching is common. This is a normal part of the healing process.

It’s crucial to follow the aftercare instructions carefully to ensure the best lasting results. Avoid swimming and sun exposure for at least six weeks after receiving your new tattoo. Proper care helps protect your tattoo and keeps the colors vibrant.

If you have any questions at any point during or after your appointment, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to help you every step of the way.
